The police has arrested the murderer of parliamentarian, JB Danquah
The arrest is reported to have been made through intense forensic investigations
Reports do indicate the murderer used a ladder to get to the room of the deceased MP
The Greater Accra regional Police Commander, DCOP George Akuffo Dampare has led the arrest of the lead suspect in the killing of the Abuakwa North MP Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu.
The intelligence operation is reported to have taken place today following convincing leads and circumstantial evidence as further investigations conclude the unnamed assailant may have used a ladder to enter the MP’s room via his window to execute their plan.
Meanwhile the acting Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Freddie Blay has demanded for a thorough and professional investigation into the murder of its Member of Parliament for the Abuakwa North constituency Joseph Boakye Danquah. In a press release signed by him, Freddie Blay revealed the need for all persons caught up in the murder of the legislator to be severely dealt with as government also puts the right security in place to prevent future occurrences.
Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu was stabbed to death after some assailants went straight to the MP’s bedroom. He left behind a wife and two children. He was 50 years old.
