Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, (NIV)
BODY
In order for us to shame the devil and its schemes we must continually tighten the belt of truth around our waist without losing it. To put on the belt of truth in addition to what we stated in our script yesterday is to "stand for the truth". We must be Christians of character who stand for the truth and defend the Gospel of truth. We must stand for the truth even at the point of death.
When we are able to buckle our waist with the truth; it will help us to stand for the truth and also expose any false teachings. We have had many adulterated teachings which has caused many to wander from the faith. The message of truth was not spoken to them, because they were blinded by the false teachings of some people who claim to be men of God. God have mercy. When we become serious with our Jesus, he will also be serious with us. He is the truth, and we must tie him around our waist so that we can stand firm and defeat the devil and expose him with the message of truth. Amen!
PRAYER POINT
Father, I thank you for my life today and always. Your truth exposes false teachings, in my generation help me so I can sleep, walk and wake up in truth to expose all forms of false teachings. Amen
