PROSPER'S CORNER 2016
DATE: WEDNESDAY 17 FEBRUARY, 2016
TOPIC: JOY IN YOUR TRIALS - PART 4

TEXT: JAMES 1:2
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, (NIV)

BODY
Today, we want to look at the last part of our topic; JOY IN YOUR TRIALS. Here, in the text, Apostle James calls these trials as "testing of your faith" (verse 3). Here again, I agree with him perfectly. Trials are sometimes brought into our lives so that God can test the sincerity of our faith. The Bible nowhere teaches that Trials in life are an indication that God is displeased with us. Instead they indicate that God recognizes our faith and has confidence in our commitment to him.

Like Job (Job 1-2), God recognized his faith and had confidence in his commitment. I like the part of his story where God told Satan that " Have you considered my servant Job" ? This indicates that Job was sincere to God in faith and God also had confidence in his commitment and sincerity. In your trials, don't quit from the faith you have received and don't accuse God, rather approach it with Joy, Amen. God bless you greatly for following the series on JOY IN YOUR TRIALS.

PRAYER POINT
Having known that sometimes trials are brought into our lives so that God can test the sincerity of our faith. I pray you that help me in every trials so that I can be sincere to you always.
