Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place (NIV)
BODY
We want to look at the Part 3 of our topic ; THE BELT OF TRUTH. Belt has always been a very important item in dressing. The center stage of a warrior's dressing. Same as truth to the life of a believer. Until our lives are built on truth we as believers will wander as flocks as described in Isaiah. The belt holds a warrior or a soldier's trousers at his waist level and makes him appears presentable on parade.
I have experienced most cadet officers been dismissed from training all in the name of not having belts on. A Christian who therefore does not accept and hold on to the truth is likely to fall prey to the devil since He or she may fall out as in the case of a training or parade section. Out of the sheep comes leather for belt. Out of the lamb of God(Jesus) comes truth and being a transforming tool He has been beneficial to us all.
PRAYER POINT
1. Pray that Christ Jesus will continue to be the center stage of your life. 2. More also we must consider and put into use the belt of truth so that we are not dismissed from our final parade section.
