TOPIC: THE NEW MAN
TEXT: COLOSSIANS 3:10
And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of him that created him:
BODY
Genuine repentance of a soul is the real recognition of a
changed attitude or a change in behavior in a person. Most of the time some try
to stop an attitude or nature which they use to practice but are unable to.
True repentance is not stopping an attitude but instead mapping up to reflect
the true image of he who created us. This will come about after we have been
renewed in our minds, but this renewal must be geared towards the direction of
He who created us.
This act of the believer must be done cautiously. The
believers effort must be seen and identified (the putting on). Though the new
man is mostly identified by his spiritual ornamentations these must be seen
within the physical. May the lord God Almighty continue to enlighten us all as
believer and may His enabling spirit enable you and I to represent God fully on
earth.
PRAYER POINT
1.
Pray for God to consistently and continuously
renew your mind
2.
Pray against all the unpleasant old nature of
yours that does not make us reflect the image of God fully.
