CAPSTONE DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE 2016
*DATE: THURSDAY 12 MAY, 2016*
*TOPIC: BUT ALL THIS GIVES ME NO SATISFACTION*
*TEXT: ESTHER 5:13*
_But all this gives me no satisfaction as long as I see that Jew Mordecai sitting at the king's gate_ *(NIV)*
*EXPOSITION*
One may be very rich, will have many worth yet still may not be happy or have no satisfaction in them. According to Esther, Haman was always posing threat to the Jews that lived in the citadel of Susa and had planned to over power them. This was because he was a top official in the king's Palace. We see from the Chapter 5 of Esther that, Haman although had riches, glory, power and status, he was a discontented man.
Mordecai, the Jew, on the other hand, had _strength_ of _character_, _godly convictions_ and _assurance_ in his God. Haman knew in his heart that Mordecai was the better man and thus hated him for it. In this world, people hate good or better people for their godly character. But in God's sight greatness is never found in riches, power or position, but in faithfulness, commitment to him and pursuit of his righteous goals on earth. Do not be satisfied because of the evil things you do. God have mercy. Amen!
*PRAYER POINT*
1. Thank God for his goodness and mercies upon your life and Ghana.
2. Pray and ask God to always help you remain committed and faithful to Him.
*FURTHER STUDY*
Esther 5
*GOD BLESS YOU*
Shalom ................,......... Peace!!!!
