TOPIC: ALL MUST REPENT TEXT: 2 Peter 3 : 9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (KJV).
EXPOSITION
Blessed morning to you out there cherished reader, this morning my question goes this way; will you be raptured at the sound of the trumpet? Have you come into total repentance? Beloved the day of the Lord has not fully come not because the Lord is slacking in what he said. The day of the Lord will definitely come but have fully repented? The merciful nature of God cannot be taken for granted. As human as we are we choose to be kind towards the ones we Love.
Though this love is selective but trust me my dear reader our God loves us all in spite of our tribes, race, heights etc. I always read this Bible verse and my confidence in the church grows "in my father's house there mansions....." Because of mankind's sinful nature the promises of God is been seen as an endurance act (longsuffering). Let us all repent, seek an perishable life which we can only enjoy that in Lord. Boloved let us move away from our iniquities,let us remain as Gods chosen ones.
