*TEXT : PROVERBS 18:10*
_The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe_

*EXPOSITION*
We serve a God who have a personality and for that matter a Name. His personality is that He is Lord! And the writer says that His name is a strong tower. He told Moses to tell Pharoah that His name is "I AM" He revealed his name to Israel in many ways in the wilderness. This make us see how dependable He is. And the writer confirms it.

David told Goliath that he (David) is coming in the name of the Lord! We have known from Scriptures that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Bible again says that blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Beloved, the name of the Lord is so powerful and in Philippians Apostle Paul made us understand that the name of the Lord Is lifted above all other name and at the mention of it, all knees shall bow and all tongues confess that he is Lord!

Do you know Him by name?
Do you know the power His name contains? Do you apply His name in all your battles? In whose name are you doing battle? Is it your certificate, school, work, beloved, beauty or what? David said I come in the name of the Lord and he defeated Goliath. If you will include the Lord's name and revere Him in your life then you will be victorious. Are you struggling with sin, call on the name of the Lord and He will save you. May the Lord reveal His name and the power that accompany His name to you in Jesus name. Amen!
