TOPIC: JOY IN YOUR TRIALS - PART 1

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, (NIV)
BODY
Trials and temptation may comes our way as Christians and through that we must strengthen our faith in the Lord and approach every trial and temptation with pure joy. The text today says we should consider ourselves fortunate when trials come our way, because we learn and grow from such things. We are likely to face trials everyday. And the question is how do you deal with it? Do you approach it with sorrows, sadness, broken hearted or Joy?
Trials takes many forms and may include accusations, hatred, seduction, rejection and even mockery, though there are worse forms of it but through prayer and constant study of the word we build our faith in the Lord and overcome it [Psalm 119:11]. Apostle James encourages us to consider any kind of trial with pure joy, because it can be a test of faith, and a test of faith develops perseverance. Amen.
