I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

BODY
The Gospel of John chapter 10 describes the Shepherd and his flock. Jesus Christ is likened to the Shepherd whereas we believers are the flock. Here, in the verse 28 is a precious promise given to all who are Christ's sheep. Real sheep (believers) of Christ will never be cut off or banish or separated from God's love or presence, nor will any circumstances or power on earth take them from the Shepherd. Those who are true sheep of Christ obey His voice and follow Him; they are in constant fellowship with the Shepherd.

To those who follow the Shepherd, He gives eternal life, they shall never perish and NO ONE can snatch them out of God's hand. With that there is indeed safety and security for even the weakest sheep who follow and listen to the Shepherd. For if a righteous man fall seven times, he shall also rise seven times. Those sheep who stray from the Shepherd and refuse to listen prove that they are not His sheep, and for them they can perish. Amen!

PRAYER POINT
1. Thank God for your life today and always.

2. Ask God to give you the grace to obey his voice so that you don't stray away from his presence.
