TOPIC: THE LORD WILL SURELY BE OUR HELP
TEXT: ISAIAH 50 : 7
For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed (KJV).
EXPOSITION
Many are the times people go through a lot of problems. And tend to think that there help may come from a friend, their spouse, sibling etc. Most often than not they become disappointed in the total outcome. In today's reading we realize how the Prophet of God admonishes how a believer will receive help from the Lord, instead of man.
This divine help which cometh from the Lord God makes the believer not limit himself to so the prophet projects on a weakness "I shall not be confounded" confinement the limitation of the believer. It is my prayer that you as a reader will recognised who your helper is in times of needs. Finally the believer is vindicated of shame after he is going through such problems. This morning may the Lord God continue to bless you bring you out of your troubles in Jesus name.
PRAYER POINT
1. A prayer of thanksgiving through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2. A prayer of godly reliance and faith in God alone.
3. Finally prayer of overcoming of problems as a believer.
