             THE GIFT OF GOD

            ECCLESIASTES 3:13
_That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil - this is the gift of God_ *(NIV)*
               
                   *EXPOSITION*
Good morning my cherished reader! I want to ask of you that have you praised God today? If not then praise God for He is good and His love [mercies] endures forever. Today, I want us to look at a simple subject entitled; *_The Gift of God_*. From our text, we saw that Solomon describes the gift of God as finding satisfaction in all what you have toiled for. Yes, I agree with him. Many toil for good things but do not live to take satisfaction in what they have toiled for, they may either die or have a disastrous life. But for you, when you gain satisfaction in what you have toiled for then you have received the gift of God and you must always honour God with the words of your mouth.

In the new testament, the gift of God is *_Jesus Christ_*. Romans 6:23, for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Jesus Christ is our eternal life and anyone who wants to enjoy this eternal life as a gift from God must first know Jesus Christ. My cherished reader, take note of this; the ability to enjoy life and live it properly is a gift from God that comes only when we are brought into a right relationship with Him and sincerely submit ourselves to Him as our Lord and God. He then gives us joy and satisfaction in what we do or have toiled for. God bless you!
