The Member of Parliament of Abetifi constituency and the District Chief Executive of the Kwahu East District organised appreciation day in honor of all the teachers in the Abetifi constituency. The program which was the first of it kind in the District saw all teachers in both the 1st and 2nd cycle receiving a half piece cloth, GH₵ 300.00 shopping voucher @ Melcom for All teachers non teaching staff as Christmas package and a full Educational scholarship @ Presbyterian University College for teachers who has taught for 10years in the District.
Deserving teachers who received postings to the rural areas in the District and others who with their whole heart helped to uplift the standard of Education in the District also received additional award. They went home with a Table Top fridges, LED TVs, GTP cloths and GH₵ 2000.00.
