NDC suspends Allotey Jacobs

The opposition National Democratic Congress has suspended its former Central Regional Chairman, Bernard Allotey Jacobs
In a statement copied to JoyNews, the party said Mr Jacobs has been suspended for his “consistent anti party conduct.”
The party says the decision was taken after a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
Below is the letter to that effect.

The NDC boycotted Peace FM’s Kokrokoo to protest the continuous invitation of Allotey Jacobs to the show.
The boycott follows belief in various quarters of the party that the former Central Regional chair has not been furthering the cause of the party since the party lost the 2016 elections.
Various NDC Communicators and sympathisers have been fighting Bernard Allotey Jacobs for always hampering the communication efforts of the party.
The NDC had previously succeeded in removing Allotey Jacobs from shows such as Adom TV ‘Badwam’ but have not succeeded in removing him from Kokrokoo.
The reason lies in the fact that Allotey Jacobs is always invited to the show by the host who has insisted that he always becomes a part of his Wednesday panel.
