TOPIC: DO NOT PRAY FOR THIS PEOPLE
TEXT: JEREMIAH 11:14
"Do not pray for this people nor offer any plea or petition for them, because I will not listen when they call to me in the time of their distress.
BODY
How are you going to take it when God communicates to your spirit to cease praying for your family and friends? Several times in this Book (Jeremiah), God has instructed Jeremiah the prophet not to intercede or pray for the people of Jerusalem and Judah. This is because, the people persisted in rebellion against the Lord and were so attached to their idols that prayer for them would do no good. God had resolved to give them no help when their time of destruction came. Today's text warns us that our prayers might not be answered by God if we are not making a sincere to obey Him and follow His ways and decrees. Beloved, I urge you to follow God's ways in other for God to listen to your prayers. Amen!
PRAYER POINT
1. Thank God for his goodness and mercies upon your life and Ghana.
2. Ask God to give you the grace to follow all His ways and decrees.
