TEXT:John 10 : 10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
BODY
Jesus presents two (2) scenarios to His disciples. Firstly, the attitude of the thief and secondly that of the restorer. The thief comes with the intention to steal what he or she lacks. He does this by planning and taking advantage of the night when people are asleep or day when people are not around. Jesus now present to His disciples the next role of the thief to kill. At this stage the thief may be stronger, well equipped, did not come to meet what he anticipated to be enough belongings. More so the thief had now been identified by a person/some persons.
The devil or the thief comes to kill dreams, persons etc through sins, spiritual and physical attacks. He goes further to destroy lives, families, relationships etc. As a believer my heart is always filled with Joy when I read Jesus' portion. That we will have life and in abundance. This point to the fact that Jesus gives abundant life. The devil might have stolen from you, kill some of your dreams, and destroyed some relations you have created, but remember Jesus has life in abundance for you. Once you have life all these will be restored back to you. Seek Jesus, be committed to Him. Trust Him and He will be the solution you seek. Amen!

1. A prayer of Thanksgiving
2. To be spiritually alert to identify the schemes that the devil will use to steal, kill and destroy
3. A faithful prayer that will keep us closer to the life giver
