Bawumia installed youth chief of Sakumono [Photos]

The chief, elders and youth of Sakumono, on Saturday, installed New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as Youth Chief of the Sakumono Traditional Area when he paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Sakumono and his elders at his Palace. The courtesy call was part of Dr. Bawumia’s two day tour of the three Tema constituencies. 

Dr. Bawumia was also honoured with a carved wooden artifact to signify his intelligence and truthfulness. 

The youth in honouring Dr. Bawumia explained that, despite the numerous attacks on his person, he has been proven right on all the issues he raises. The also pointed to his intelligence and competence, noting that he is a great role model for the youth of Ghana. 

Dr. Bawumia expressed gratitude for the gesture from the Elders and youth of Sakumono on his Facebook page.
 “I was honored to have been enstooled as the Youth Chief of Sakumono yesterday by the Sakumono Mantse, Nene Amediku Sogbodjor and the Sakumono Traditional Council and my stool name is Nene Amediku Sogbodjor II. I thank Nene Sogbodjor, his elders and the youth of Sakumono for this great honor."
